Inspired by the Arsenic use in the Edwardian Era.
A story of the hidden killer in Edwardian homes. Arsenic. The vibrant green covered peoples homes. Hidden in their wallpaper. Silently poisoning them all from the inside out.
For this collection I designed an 8 look collection and chose one look to develop in final fabric. My chosen look created in Green Taffeta was designed to convey the peeling walls once beautiful and now revealing the structure within, death, disaster, destruction.
The corset made in lamb leather acts as the failed armor. Feeling safe in your home to terrified. The panels are stitched together with waxed thread.
In beauty there is chaos.
